The ELDT rule upholds that individuals must fulfill behind-the-wheel driving exercises related to basic vehicle control skills and mastery of basic maneuvers as covered in 49 CFR §§ 383.111 and 383.113 via both the driving range and public road.

The following 7 units cover the ELDT behind-the-wheel range training as mandated by the FMCSA:

•Vehicle Inspection Pre-Trip/Enroute/Post-Trip

•Straight Line Backing

•Alley Dock Backing (45/90 Degree)

•Off-Set Backing

•Parallel Parking Blind Side

•Parallel Parking Sight Side

•Coupling and Uncoupling

The following 12 units cover the ELDT behind-the-wheel public road training as mandated by the FMCSA:

and Other Emergencies
